Speech Language Pathologist - Inpatient

Assess participants' swallowing, speech, and language functions within 48 hours of receiving a medical order, then develop comprehensive care plans and establish achievable treatment goals with defined time frames. Deliver individual therapeutic interventions to restore impaired speech, language, and swallowing disorders, while explaining treatment processes and positioning patients for safety and optimal response. Serve as a clinical resource for staff managing communication and swallowing difficulties, ensuring complete documentation of all services and maintaining statistical records. Perform video fluoroscopy swallowing studies and determine equipment needs to support patient progress.
