Job Summary
Conduct screening, evaluation, and speech therapy for qualifying students while participating in IEP meetings to document needs and progress. Build rapport with children and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment by working closely with teachers and support staff across general and special education settings. Supervise SLPAs where applicable and assist lead educators by following direction while supporting the delivery of IEP and BIP services. Maintain comfort in medically fragile or high-behavior situations, performing tasks that require sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs in varied indoor and outdoor school environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) placement
- Ability to work onsite in a school-based setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
