Speech Language Pathologist, In-Person

Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech disorders. Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with the students’ ability to derive full benefit from the educational program. Responsibilities include planning and providing individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals, evaluating progress, conducting independent evaluations for eligibility, participating in ARD committee for placement and goal setting, counseling and involving parents, collaborating with teachers to implement activities to improve communication skills, providing professional development to school personnel, maintaining documentation, complying with laws and board policies, potentially supervising assistants, performing after-hours duties, and traveling as necessary.
