Job Summary
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct formal assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct speech therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. Collaborates with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes; supervise and support SLPAs (if applicable); maintain compliant IEPs and progress documentation; communicate findings and progress through accurate notes. Must have a state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) and clear background checks. Preferred: one year of experience, Department of Education certification, knowledge of evidence-based practices, and school-based caseload management. This role operates in Detroit, MI as a full-time position with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
