Job Summary
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes. Must hold a current SLP license in the state or be eligible to obtain, and meet background clearance requirements. The position supports school-based caseload management, IEP alignment, documentation, and supervision of SLPA staff where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)
- DOJ/FBI Live Scan background
- TB clearance
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Preferred: One year of experience in speech therapy
- Department of Education certification
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
- Experience with school-based caseload management
