Job Summary
Evaluate and implement a plan of care for comprehensive speech and language services for individuals exhibiting speech and/or language dysfunction. Perform comprehensive speech therapy evaluations, treatment, and related follow-up services, including discharge planning. Develop treatment plans with measurable goals based on patient assessment, complete goal re-assessment, and provide therapy using assistive equipment. Train and educate patients, family members, and support staff on treatment plans, then document understanding and submit patient reports and charges within established timeframes. Collaborate with healthcare personnel and outside agencies to coordinate care and supervise Rehab Technicians.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree Speech Pathologist (SPE)
- State Licensing Board
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- American Heart Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association)
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
