Job Summary
Pediatric Speech Pathologist provides diagnostic and therapy services for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in inpatient, outpatient, or outside settings. Responsibilities include treating individuals with various communication disorders, instructing patients and families in home treatment programs, and maintaining patient records. Requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, licensure eligibility in Ohio, and one year of medical setting experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
- One year experience in a medical setting preferred
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in both written and oral form
- Successful completion of a one hundred eighty (180) day probationary period
