Job Summary
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized speech and language treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs in an inpatient rehabilitation setting; identifying issues and modifying therapy as necessary; tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment; celebrating patient victories along the way. The role requires current state licensure or certification, CCC eligibility, CPR certification (or within 30 days of hire), and typically a Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience. The position is with Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, offering benefits and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Master‘s degree preferred, or Bachelor‘s degree with field experience
