Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in homes or facilities by assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. Administer diagnostic tests, interpret results, and observe patient responses to treatment while maintaining documentation of evaluations, visits, and care plans. Participate in Plan of Treatment reviews, care coordination activities, and discharge planning, providing instruction to patients and families on alternative communication systems. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards required for ASHA certification. Full-time employment with pay per visit; valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
