Job Summary
Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility; develop and review the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care; assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing; administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic applications; observe and report changes in patient condition; instruct patients in alternative communication systems; counsel patients, families and healthcare staff; maintain required documentation and participate in care coordination and discharge planning; meet ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence requirements; minimum six months’ experience; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; compensation details reflect base pay for full-time hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC-SLP) or Audiology
- Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech-language pathologist
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Home Health experience preferred or a plus
