Job Summary
Provide home-based speech-language pathology services to patients, evaluate and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing; participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care; administer and interpret diagnostic tests; provide instruction and training in alternative communication systems; document and report patient progress; participate in care coordination and discharge planning; maintain confidentiality and comply with company policy; require ASHA CCC-eligible or CCC-certified credentials and a valid driver’s license; minimum six months of experience as a SLP; home health setting experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
