Job Summary
As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility, contribute to the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care, assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing, administer diagnostic tests, observe and report changes, provide instruction on alternative communication systems, counsel patients and families, maintain thorough documentation, participate in care coordination and discharge planning, and meet ASHA Certification requirements. Requires valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; compensation is paid per visit/unit within a full-time 40-hour week. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required
