Job Summary
Evaluate clients' speech, language, and hearing abilities, conducting initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments including OASIS evaluations. Develop and revise treatment plans in consultation with physicians, while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members and providing speech pathology training. Educate clients and families on therapy techniques, document all evaluation data and progress promptly, and supervise Home Health Aides every 14 days when Speech Therapy is the sole discipline. Communicate regularly with physicians to ensure appropriate orders and address changes in client condition. This role supports Pinnacle Home Care's mission of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care at home across Florida.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program
- Licensed Speech Therapist in Florida
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Speech Therapist
- Current BLS Certification
- Valid driver's license and insured, reliable vehicle
- Strong emotional resilience and physical stamina, including the ability to stand, stoop, and bend frequently
- Excellent judgment, communication, and observational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
