Job Summary
Home Health Speech Language Pathologist delivers speech/language pathology services under interdisciplinary care, develops and implements plans of care after physician consultation, visits patients for assessment/evaluation, performs OASIS assessments, educates patients, families, and staff, documents in EMR, participates in quality improvement, collaborates with physicians and other healthcare providers, supervises Home Health Aide as appropriate, and adheres to infection control and policy procedures while supporting the Compassus mission and care for patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology preferred
- Minimum of one year of home health experience
- Active and unencumbered Speech Language Pathologist license in state(s) of employment
