Job Summary
Screen, evaluate, diagnose, schedule, and treat patients with communication disorders and dysphasia in their homes. Document diagnosis, treatment, and progress; communicate care information to referrers and team members; and educate families regarding disability, progress, and potential. Coordinate home visits with other homecare staff and establish local public relations as a communication disorder resource. Prepare for continuing education sessions and participate in prevention programs and formal investigative studies. Maintain knowledge of homecare regulations. Full-time 30-hour day shift required. Master's degree and unencumbered licensure in Vermont and New Hampshire necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology
- Professional licensure in both Vermont and New Hampshire
- Unencumbered Speech Pathology License license in VT and NH or compact
- Driver's license
- Minimum requirements on car insurance
- Clean driving record
