Job Summary
Deliver speech-language pathology services in home health settings, evaluating, directing, and providing SLP services to patients in the home or facility. Develop and periodically review the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care, assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing, administer and interpret diagnostic tests, observe and report changes, provide instruction on alternative communication, counsel patients and families, maintain and submit documentation, participate in care coordination and discharge planning, and uphold confidential information and professional standards. Requires CCC-SLP/ASHA certification considerations, minimum six months of relevant experience, current license, CPR, and valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Pay ranges include per-visit and annual base pay, with full-time scheduling and benefits as described by Humana/CenterWell.
Required Qualifications
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Good organizational and communication skills
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
