Job Summary
Conduct regular screenings of residents and those referred to physical therapy to determine intervention needs. Evaluate residents to gather data for treatment planning, then develop short and long-term goals with specific methods to achieve them. Provide speech therapy services to residents while adhering to established standards, company procedures, and productivity guidelines. Interpret evaluation findings and communicate treatment plans and recommendations to residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Ensure all documentation is compliant with CMS expectations within the NetHealth EMR system. Maintain current licensure and certification through ongoing continuing education and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Must have an active Speech Language Pathologist license in state(s) of practice
- Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
