Job Summary
Provide speech, language, swallowing, cognition, or voice therapy screenings, evaluations, treatments, and trainings to meet resident needs across the care continuum. Follow Federal, State, and payer guidelines, ASHA requirements, and company policies to ensure compliance in care provision, documentation, billing, and resident rights. Implement personal care plans focusing on residents' strengths, preferences, and routines while supporting their physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to address resident needs throughout their journey. Maintain current CPR certification and a valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license. Located in Silver Spring, Maryland, this full-time role supports a 120-acre continuing care retirement community.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPR Certification
- Current valid Speech-Language Pathologists license in the State of Maryland
