Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist providing and supervising speech-language pathology services for adults and children with speech, language, swallowing, and hearing impairments. Responsibilities include directing and supervising therapy services, evaluating patient needs, interpreting progress reports, and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. The role may involve department head duties such as oversight of fiscal, maintenance, scheduling, and supervision of clinical activities. Collaboration with physicians, families, medical staff, and other personnel to ensure quality patient care; documentation and adherence to reimbursement requirements; in-service training and equipment/safety oversight. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employment in Chattanooga, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology or its equivalent
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech/Language/Hearing Association or be eligible for a Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Currently licensed in the state or states in which practicing
