Job Summary
The Speech-Llanguage Pathologist conducts identification, evaluation, and treatment of communication and therapeutic feeding needs for students served by Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania, with duties including routine documentation, collaboration with caregivers and outside agencies, and participation in program representation; responsibilities also cover evaluating language, articulation, phonology, voice, fluency, pragmatics, and augmentative communication, conducting annual hearing screenings, and supporting feeding protocols in coordination with the Occupational Therapist; the role is a school-based, full-time position with a 32.5-hour weekly schedule and an hourly pay of $35.00, plus comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- PA License in Speech-Language Pathology (or in process of completing the Year of Supervised Professional Experience--YSPE)
- PA Professional Teacher Certification in Speech and Language Impaired (or equivalent)
- Completion of education credits needed to maintain license/certifications
- Criminal, Child Abuse and FBI clearances required
- Passing of physical examination and TB required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)
