Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist position serving district-wide in Pennsylvania. Responsibilities include evaluating, instructing, and monitoring student speech and language progress, applying instructional strategies, and aligning work with PA Academic Standards and district curriculum. Requires valid SLPTI/SLP certificate (PA Instructional I or II) and ASHA CCC or equivalent (preferred); candidates may hold PA licensure or out-of-state certifications and pursue PA certification. Strong emphasis on data analysis of student performance, IEP processes, and effective communication of instructional strategies for special needs students.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech and Language Pathologist Instructional I or II Certificate
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent (preferred)
- PA Speech Licensure or out-of-state speech certifications and willing to obtain PA certification
- Experience with Special Education/IEP process and federal/state mandates
- Knowledge of PA Academic Standards and District curriculum
- Ability to evaluate, instruct and monitor speech and language progress
- Strong classroom management and data-analysis skills
- Strong technology background for student learning and professional growth
