SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Job Summary
Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech-language impairments in articulation, language, fluency and voice; develop IEPs in collaboration with teachers, families and LEA; conduct screening, testing, diagnosis, and recommendations; supervise SLPA/clinical fellows working on ASHA certification; manage Medicaid billing and documentation; deliver therapy using appropriate diagnostic tools and therapy techniques to support the curriculum; maintain records and collaborate with educational staff and families.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Preferred to have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Must have a G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction
- Must have a license from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
