Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients while communicating with clients and team members, maintaining documentation in medical records. Conduct ongoing in-services and training on restorative techniques for patients, clients, and staff. Supervise therapist assistants and therapy students in direct patient care to execute plans of care per state regulations. Screen patients based on identified needs and travel or float between facilities as determined by supervisor and patient requirements. Complete all duties in accordance with established medical practices, governmental requirements, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain license in state where services are provided
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Ability to operate departmental equipment, as appropriate
- Must be able to travel or float between facilities as determined by supervisor and patient needs
