Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist to assess, evaluate, and support educationally-relevant communication and feeding/therapy goals in Riverside County schools. Key responsibilities include conducting formal and dynamic assessments, developing IEPs, creating and coordinating treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams, consulting with families and school staff to generalize skills, supervising SLPA as needed, and maintaining accurate progress notes and assessment data. Licensure in-state is required (or eligibility), with applicable DOE certification and background clearance (DOJ/FBI Livescan, TB). Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, plus knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs, are desired. Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered or eligibility to obtain such licensure
- Certifications: Department of Education certification (if applicable), and any relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, CPI) as needed
- Experience: Preferably one year of experience in speech therapy; clinical fellows or RPE candidates are welcome
- Clearances: DOJ/FBI Livescan background check and TB clearance required. Must be eligible to work in the US
