Job Summary
Evaluate and treat individuals regarding speech, language, oral, pharyngeal, cognitive, or communicative function using standard therapy techniques. Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment plans while maintaining clinical records and following performance improvement recommendations. Plan or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services and provide information on appropriate support programs. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner during all duties. Requires a Master's degree, Illinois or Missouri speech-language pathologist license, and Basic Life Support certification within 90 days. Schedule includes PRN shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm with no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment
- Speech-Language Pathologist, Licensed - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Speech Language Path - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Speech Language Pathologist - Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
- Speech-Language Pathologist - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
