Job Summary
Evaluate pediatric patients for receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, and oral motor competence. Conduct screenings, direct treatment, and train caregivers on home programs. Coordinate care with office staff and refer families to external resources as needed. Maintain patient records, participate in Quality Assurance, and attend continuing education activities. Serve as backup for other caseloads while managing a productive caseload. Requires current licensure, Master's degree, and pediatric experience. Full benefits package includes 401K and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
