Job Summary

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role in Chicago's early intervention setting providing evaluations and direct therapy to children. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication; develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members; implement therapy approaches (e.g., play-based) and integrate goals into educational programming and daily routines; educate families about intervention strategies; maintain accurate documentation including evaluations, progress reports, and service records. Mentorship and collaboration opportunities with CF mentors, ongoing professional development, flexible scheduling, and W-2 employment with benefits. Compensation available up to $60 per hour, depending on experience and placement.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
  • Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to collaboration, lifelong learning, and evidence-based practice
