Job Summary
Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice, or language disorders. Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with students’ ability to derive full benefit from the educational program. Requires Master’s degree and valid Texas license as a speech language pathologist/therapist or TEA Speech Therapy certificate. Skills include use of tests and measurements for assessing speech-language disorders and knowledge of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation of speech, language, and hearing disorders.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Valid Texas license as a speech language pathologist/therapist granted by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, or TEA Speech Therapy certificate
