Job Summary
Plan and provide direct and consultative services to assess students with speech or language disorders and provide appropriate individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech and language goals contained in IEPs; participate in ARD; collaborate with teachers and families; provide professional development; maintain records and compliance with laws and district policies; may supervise assistants and provide ongoing evaluation of the speech therapy program.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA) or Bachelor's degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate
- One (1) year supervised clinical speech-language pathology experience
