Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary
Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences, and conduct discharge evaluations to recommend home and community safety resources. Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and families while collaborating with other disciplines to coordinate care. Maintain a Master's degree, valid license, and CPR certification with at least one year of experience, demonstrating knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries. This role supports Rehab Without Walls' mission to help individuals regain functional capabilities in their natural environments following brain injury, spinal cord injury, or stroke.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
- Current CPR Certification
- A minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Duties require fine motor skills
