Job Summary

Conduct assessments and provide treatment for children with developmental delays, sensory processing differences, and feeding challenges in natural environments, community locations, and via telehealth. Establish and carry out therapy programs, including alternate/augmentative communication systems, while collaborating with caregivers to build practical strategies for daily skills. Maintain accurate documentation and electronic medical records, coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and community providers, and participate in case conferences and agency trainings. Support Medicaid-related care coordination and administrative requirements. Deliver family-centered services to infants and young children across the organization's medical, therapy, and special education programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters of Science degree in Speech Language-Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence by the American Speech and Hearing Association
  • Washington State Department of Health Speech and Language Pathologist License
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • Automobile insurance
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Ability to pass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background check
  • Ability to pass FBI fingerprint check
  • Previous experience of 2 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with children who have disabilities
  • Please note, COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccination is strongly encouraged

Desired Qualifications

  • Background in neurogenic speech disorders, language disorders, autism, and pediatric feeding
