Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist in Newport Beach, CA: Responsible for assessing and treating clients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, primarily children on the Autism Spectrum. Implement treatment plans, collaborate with the client’s clinical team, and work one-on-one in clinic and possible in-home settings. Conduct assessments, educate patients and families on communication techniques (including sign language and lip reading), and generate detailed documentation (session notes, timesheets, clinical reports). Requires ASHA-certified licensure (CCC-SLP) and state license, with experience serving children 3 and under; prior familiarity with Regional Center of Orange County programs is a plus. Salary range $65-$85 per hour, with full-time benefits eligibility at 32+ hours, and options for in-clinic and at-home visits, depending on client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA-certified and state-licensed) with CCC-SLP
- Experience with ages 3 and under
- Minimum of 1 year of related clinical experience (behavior monitoring, data collection, developmental assessments)
- Ability to generate comprehensive documentation and work with interdisciplinary clinical teams
- Experience coordinating treatment plans and communicating with caregivers
