Job Summary
Provide in-home speech therapy evaluations and treatments for adult and geriatric clients, assessing and treating speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and modify care plans as patient needs evolve. Educate patients and caregivers to promote safety, independence, and improved quality of life while collaborating closely with nurses and interdisciplinary team members. Complete timely electronic documentation using a tablet-based EMR system. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling, manageable geographic territories, and one-on-one patient care within Hudson County, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Current NJ Speech Language Pathologist license
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Home health experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable with electronic documentation/EMR systems
