Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting responsible for prevention, assessment, and remediation of language, speech, voice, and fluency difficulties to help students meet educational goals. Responsibilities include organizing a program aligned with local speech-language goals, serving on committees, scheduling interventions using varied service delivery models, documenting and reporting data to IEP teams, collaborating with teachers and psychologists, supervising interns/paraprofessionals/volunteers as appropriate, managing materials and equipment including assistive technology, and applying evidence-based interventions. Requires Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology and eligibility for NC Licensure with CCC-SLP eligibility; CFY available.
