Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) collaborates with the special education teacher in creating daily and testing schedules and attending annual meetings. Responsibilities include supplying the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists and delivering specially designed instruction tailored to each child's needs due to their disability. A Master's degree in speech language pathology and CCC certification from ASHA is required, with preference given to candidates with experience assisting at-risk students.
