Job Summary
Collaborate with administrators to develop and coordinate daily service schedules, evaluation timelines, and annual IEP meetings. Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop individualized goals aligned with student IEPs, and provide specially designed instruction to meet unique communication needs. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for eligibility determinations and progress monitoring while documenting service delivery and progress notes in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Consult with teachers and families to support carryover of communication strategies across classroom and home environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in speech language pathology - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Associate (ASHA)
- Experience working with at-risk student populations
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric environment
- Familiarity with IEP development, special education compliance, and collaborative service delivery models
