Job Summary
Direct therapy, consultation, planning, and collaboration with SLP supervisors for PreK–12 students. Conduct screenings, monitor student progress, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including educators and parents. Manage caseloads while dedicating time to documentation, administrative tasks, and planning. Requires valid SLPA certification, state licensure where applicable, and fingerprint background clearance. Full-time 37.5-hour schedule available with guaranteed hours and manageable caseloads.
Required Qualifications
- Valid SLPA Certification from an ASHA approved institution
- State License as Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant, where required
- Department of Education Licensure as a SLPA, where required
- Experience working with children
- Fingerprint background clearance
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications
- Physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities
