Job Summary
Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) needed to provide school-based therapy in a public school special education setting under licensed SLP supervision. Responsibilities include delivering speech therapy services, implementing IEP-based treatment plans for individual/small groups, assisting with screenings/evaluations, preparing materials, maintaining therapy documentation, tracking student progress, educating families, collaborating with school staff, and ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations. Requires SLPA certification and a relevant degree; offers in-person, hybrid, and teletherapy opportunities with W2 contract and potential local or travel assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited SLPA certification program
- Valid state SLPA license or authorization (if required in the state of practice)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
