Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Summary
Provide speech-language pathology support under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Assist with interventions for clients with disabilities, including screening, observations, instruction, and data collection in home settings; implement goals and communicate progress; support development of communication programming including oral, written, manual, augmentative, and alternative communication techniques and assistive technology; maintain accurate and timely documentation of service; coordinate with the supervising SLP for weekly supervision (2 hours) and co-sign documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Currently hold a Speech Language Pathology Assistant license in the State of Texas
- Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication, Speech and Language Pathology or Communication Disorders/Speech Sciences or successfully completed a Speech Language Pathology Assistant program from an institution meeting guidelines of the State Board and ASHA
