Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Exhibit compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations while assisting the SLP with speech and language screenings and assessments. Provide guidance and treatment via telepractice, document student performance data, and prepare charts or graphs for the supervising SLP. Program and instruct students on augmentative and alternative communication devices as needed. Collaborate with families and school staff regarding communication strategies, assist with clerical duties like scheduling, and advocate for student access to communication services. Support the SLP in documenting and creating IEPs.
