Job Summary
Deliver speech and language interventions under the direction and supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist, implementing individualized and inclusive activities to support children's communication and social development. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, families, and caregivers to promote positive developmental outcomes through play-based learning experiences. Participate in home visits, parent engagement activities, team meetings, and case conferences as required while preparing and maintaining therapy materials and participant records in accordance with confidentiality standards. Local travel is required between office locations, family residences, and schools.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Speech and Language Pathology Assistant
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and vehicle
- Proof of vehicle insurance, registration and 3-year drivers abstract
- Standard First Aid and CPR
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational, therapeutic, or community-based settings
- Experience supporting children and families from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, with adjusted scheduling
- Local travel required between office locations, family residences, and schools
