Job Summary
Provide direct speech and language therapy services as directed by a supervising SLP to elementary and middle school students. Implement IEP goals and objectives, prepare therapy materials, and collect performance data toward those goals. Assist with screenings, maintain therapy logs and progress reports, and support classroom collaboration with teachers. Utilize AAC devices and participate in IEP meetings when requested. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Completion of a Board-approved SLPA program
- Valid CA SLPA License
