Job Summary

Develop IEP goals and objectives based on assessment results, then participate in required IEP meetings and classroom team meetings. Submit quarterly progress reports, update benchmarks, and provide direct or consult therapy minutes for each student on caseload. Collaborate with teachers to arrange activities and materials, while serving as a communication consultant to parents and school personnel. Maintain all records in accordance with Illinois and Federal regulations, manage therapeutic equipment inventory, and supervise interns or assistants. Establish consistent communication with families and complete required training and certifications throughout the school year.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
  • valid Professional Educator License with a Speech/Language Pathology endorsement
  • certificate of clinical competence from American Speech Language and Hearing Association
  • Appropriate Speech-Language Pathology Licensure in accordance with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations
  • Must have a Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, valid Professional Educator License with a Speech/Language Pathology endorsement. Must hold a certificate of clinical competence from American Speech Language and Hearing Association and Appropriate Speech-Language Pathology Licensure in accordance with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations.
