Job Summary
Evaluate, assess and screen clients using standardized testing and clinical observations; provide speech-language therapy per OPWDD guidelines; maintain and document services; attend meetings and collaborate with professionals, staff, and families; maintain ongoing professional development; conduct inservice staff training; oversee implementation of communication programs in both day and residential settings; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
- NYSED licensure in Speech/Language Pathology
- ASHA certification preferred
- TSHH certification preferred
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred
