Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations to shape individualized therapy plans for students. Engage in individual and group therapy sessions addressing expressive/receptive language, fluency, articulation, and social-pragmatic skills. Innovate with Augmentative and Alternative Communication strategies by designing tools that open new pathways for communication. Train teachers, staff, and families to use practical strategies fostering success across environments. Provide services to elementary, junior high, and high school students in Katy, Texas, in accordance with established standards of care and applicable policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligible
- Knowledge of Texas Speech and Hearing Association guidelines
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school-based environment
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or related field
