Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist - Acute Rehab at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech-language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, with supervisory guidance as needed. CFY supervision provided in accordance with ASHA rules. Requires Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year, California licensure, and BLS certification upon hire. Focus areas include therapeutic feedings, patient transfers, and Modified Barium Swallow studies. Located in Santa Rosa, CA with an emphasis on patient-focused, whole-person care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree From an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Completion of, or eligibility for, Clinical Fellowship Year
- California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Coursework/Training Speech-Language Pathology Area of Specialization - Completion of competencies for Therapeutic feedings, Patient transfers, and Assistance with Modified Barium Swallow studies
