Job Summary
Evaluate speech, language, cognitive, and communication impairments, as well as swallowing, airway, clinical voice, and resonance disorders. Develop and administer speech therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients across neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Provide patient and family education while exercising courtesy and patience when speaking with patients, families, medical personnel, and others to ensure quality customer service. Weekend requirements apply with an 8-430 schedule. Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology and American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) are required; CCC certification or equivalent educational progress is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified (CCC) by the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association
- Completion of supervised experience required for certification within one year
