Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and administers treatment programs for patients with mechanical and/or neurological impairments affecting speech, language, and swallowing. Responsibilities include performing speech therapy evaluations, developing and implementing patient care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and documenting interventions and recommendations. The role involves maintaining productivity standards and providing timely communication to healthcare providers for patient discharge. Required qualifications include a valid state license and CPR certification, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s Degree.
Required Qualifications
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of New Jersey or Pennsylvania based on work location
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Successful completion of required affiliations and/or CEUs to maintain licensure
