Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist for Acute Care Pediatric population based at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Evaluates, plans, and administers speech therapy programs to restore function and improve communication and swallowing; assesses speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders across all ages; develops and updates care plans with patient/family; delivers evidence-based therapy and may use alternative/augmentative communication devices; participates in physician oversight, documentation, and billing; requires PA licensure and BLS; travel to patient care assignments may be necessary; work schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with weekend/holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in State of Pennsylvania
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Ability to travel to patient care assignments
