Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for patients with speech, language, swallowing, and head-neck cancer disorders. Develop therapeutic programs, establish goals, and determine appropriate discontinuation points based on patient progress. Perform invasive tracheoesophageal puncture evaluations, conduct video fluorography, and provide esophageal and tracheoesophageal voice training. Complete progress notes, billing documentation, and interdepartmental meetings while maintaining statistical data. Maintain current field knowledge through literature and seminars. Requires Master's degree, ASHA certification, and DC licensure. Salary range $74,214 to $134,596 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- 1-2 years of progressively more responsible job-related experience
- ASHA - American Speech Language Hearing Association
- SP-L - Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the District of Columbia within 90 Days
